Interesting story of Williamson team!

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson said the pain of losing two ICC World Cup finals in the past made their victory in Southampton even better.

Ross Taylor was strongly supported to Kane Williamson as he when struggled on Wednesday to record the Kiwis as the first winners of the ICC World Test Championship.

Kane Williamson said this, of course, it was a special feeling.

Going closer to the bowl a couple of times and finally winning the big bowl, definitely makes a sense of excellence.

 Isn't winning the final the pinnacle?  First of all, I would like to thank the Indian team and Virat Kohli. The Indian team is fantastic and we know how big the challenge is.

We continued to maintain a sense of accomplishment and eventually won.  This is a great Test match.  I'm been with New Zealand cricket for a short time, so it's a special feeling.  We receive the title of champion for the first time in our history.

With 22 players playing for our team in the last 2 years, this would not have been possible without the contribution of their assistants and coaches.  That said, this is the best moment to defend.

Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson shared a great friendship after New Zealand, the first official world champions of Test cricket, defeated India by eight wickets in Southampton on Wednesday.

 Kohli and Williamson have known each other since their U-19 days, and have been with the ICC for two years.  The two have also expressed their admiration for each other during the Test Championship period.

New Zealand has reached the semi-finals of the ODI World Cup eight times. They have reached the final of the ODI World Cup twice.  The New Zealand team was heartbroken by the final results of the 2019 World Cup.

 The current victory makes New Zealand the first team in Test cricket history to win a championship in 144 years.

With New Zealand losing the finals of the ODI World Cups in 2015 and 2019, the victory has given the team great excitement.

 The previous record was held in 2000 when India defeated India to win the Champions Trophy.

Virat Kohli has congratulated the New Zealand team led by Kane Williamson on their historic victory.

 This match is the final Test of the life of New Zealand wicketkeeper PJ Watling.  His contribution to the team in the race for the World Test Championship title was also tremendous.
